WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced  Labor & Delivery RN  to join a high‑performing  L&D team at a respected hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.  

Job Function:  

• Night Shift.
• 3x12.
• Assess and categorize patients into the  appropriate level  of care  
• Apply and inter.ret  external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity  
• Implement  timely  interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition  
• Identify  and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately  
• Administer  medications safely  in accordance with  the  Five Rights  and infection‑control standards  
• Perform pain assessments and reassess per  clinical guidelines  
• Assist  physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care  

Job Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License

• NRP – Advanced

• BLS

• NCC C‑EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)

• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

• 3+ years of current Labor & Delivery experience

• Experience in a high‑risk OB setting

• Strong background in managing obstetric emergencies
