WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Emergency Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Milford, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions.

Job Functions:

• Shift and schedule: Night Shift | 36 hours per week (Three 12-hour shifts).
• Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions.
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed.
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation  assistance).
• Maintain  accurate  and  timely  documentation in the EMR.

Job Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license (in hand required)
• Minimum 1+ year ED experience
• Prior travel experience strongly preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Meditech (experience required)
• Additional preferred certifications:
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • De-escalation training (MOAB/CPI/AVADE or equivalent)}
