WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Step‑Down RN for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Boston, MA. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in high‑acuity environments, uses strong critical‑thinking skills, and delivers patient‑centered care grounded in evidence‑based practice

Job Function:

• Shifts: 3x12 days | 7:00am -7:00pm: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• Deliver high‑quality patient care using the principles of  Relationship‑Centered Care, integrating theory, research, and evidence‑based practice.
• Assess and  evaluate  patient needs while applying strong critical‑thinking skills to guide clinical decision‑making.
• Integrate comprehensive assessment and intervention skills into all aspects of nursing care.
• Prioritize patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, coaching, discharge planning, and  appropriate delegation.
• Educate patients and caregivers about the plan of care, transitions of care, health promotion, and disease prevention—anticipating  needs and readiness to learn.

Job Requirements:

• Role & Experience: ICU RN with 2+ years of experience.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

• Systems & History: Must have EPIC experience and previous travel/contract history.

• Scheduling: Every Other Weekend (EOW) required.

• Time Off: Requested Time Off (RTO) must still allow for all 3 shifts to be worked each week of the contract.
