WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Emergency Department Registered  Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Atlanta, GA area. This role is ideal for a clinically strong  RN  who thrives in a fast‑paced  environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions.  

Job Function:  

• Shifts: 2x3 Nights (36 hours)
• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience.

• Facility Type Requirement: Must have proven experience working in a high-volume, similar-sized Level 1 Trauma facility (Grady is a very busy, high-acuity environment).

• Work History: Resume must show zero gaps in employment (or clear, documented explanations for gaps).

• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
