Local Contract Nurse RN - Pediatrics

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected rehabilitation facility. This role is ideal for a compassionate RN who is comfortable caring for pediatric patients ranging from newborns to young adults in an inpatient rehab setting.

Job Function:

• Shift: 5x8 Evenings
• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Perform assessments and monitor patient progress
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery goals
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment

Job Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work with a wide pediatric age range (newborn to young adult)
• Excellent communication and family-centered care approach
