An established healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking an oncology-proficient Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. Operating at a standard 37.5-hour work week, this clinic features 12 exam rooms and averages 50 patient visits per day, making it an excellent opportunity for an adaptable oncology professional.

Job Function:

• Shift & Hours: 5x8 Days 8am-4pm
  
• Administer chemotherapy, therapeutic treatments, blood transfusions, and perform phlebotomy  
• Provide and coordinate patient care in an ambulatory  oncology setting  
• Assess, diagnose, plan, and intervene in actual or potential health problems  
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly  
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, symptom management, and health maintenance  
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care  
• Support unit operations including patient flow, assignments, ordering, and medical record preparation  

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care or outpatient Oncology/Hematology experience.

• Licensure: Active New Jersey (NJ) RN License or an active Compact RN License must be in hand at the time of submission.

• Certifications: Active BLS is required at the time of submission.
