Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location: Burlington, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Holiday Requirement: 2 Holiday Shifts Required
Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours Biweekly
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel assignment in Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a highly skilled RN with strong emergency and trauma experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The Emergency Department features a modern, state-of-the-art design with advanced technology and comprehensive patient care services.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage according to established protocols.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Support patient and family education throughout the care process.
Adhere to all hospital, regulatory, and safety standards.
Requirements
Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
Recent Triage ER experience required.
Level I Trauma Center experience required.
Current AHA BLS Certification.
Current AHA ACLS Certification.
EPIC experience required.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
Additional Information
Candidates must be available to work required weekends and holiday shifts.
Excessive time-off requests, particularly around holidays, will not be considered.

Candidates must be separated from the BILH for at least six months if previously employed as permanent staff, per diem staff, or contract workers.
