Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Procedure / Med-Tele

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: 12-hour shifts (Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Schedule Requirements: Weekend & holiday rotation required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a post-procedure and Med/Telemetry setting. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from procedures, managing acute and chronic conditions, and ensuring patient safety through continuous assessment and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-procedural and Med/Telemetry patients
Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in the EMR system
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care when necessary
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Mandatory Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med-Surg, Telemetry, or post-procedural care
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Additional certifications or professional credentials recognized by national nursing organizations
Additional Information:
Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
No on-call requirement
Overtime applicable after 40 hours per week
Candidates must be flexible to work both day and night shifts based on assignment needs
