• Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Job Summary
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, from urgent to complex. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for an assigned group of emergency department patients
Perform rapid assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions
Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
Document patient responses to interventions and update care plans as needed
Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care and procedures
Coordinate patient care needs with interdisciplinary team members
Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff
Comply with emergency department protocols, safety standards, and best practices
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or compact (eNLC)
BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of Emergency or acute care nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Prior travel nursing experience
