Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Location: Burlington, Massachusetts
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Holiday Requirement: Two Holiday Shifts During Assignment
Float Requirement: No
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years of Emergency Room Nursing Experience
Trauma Experience: Level I Trauma Experience Required
Charting System: EPIC
Interview Process: Manager Interview Required
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and experience managing complex emergency cases.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
Triage and prioritize patients based on severity of condition and clinical needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to established protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly respond to changes in status.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation, medication administration, and patient care management.
Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.

Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
Minimum of two years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
Recent Level I Trauma Center experience required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Strong critical care, assessment, and emergency response skills.
Experience with EPIC electronic health records required.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
