Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures by preparing equipment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety throughout diagnostic and interventional cases. This role requires hands-on Cath Lab and IR experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to cases
Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment in compliance with radiation safety standards
Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
Document procedures and patient data accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and supplies
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff to support efficient workflow
Adhere to all clinical, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
Active California Radiologic Technologist License
ARRT certification
Fluoroscopy Certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Proven Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience

Shift: Day shift
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
