Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab), or skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings.
• Experience with inpatient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg populations.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Ability to work varied day shift hours and participate in weekend/holiday rotation as scheduled.
• Preferred: DPT degree.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital, inpatient rehabilitation unit (42-bed IP Rehab unit).
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift details: Days 08:30–17:00.
• Weekend requirement: One weekend per month with weekdays off to balance schedule.
• On call: No.
• Typical unit staffing: Day shift includes Director, Lead PT, 4–5 PTs and 5–6 PTAs; night shift not applicable.
• Equipment commonly used: Treatment beds, treadmills, exercise bikes, exercise balls, resistance bands.
• EMR: Meditech.
