Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in an acute or long-term acute care (LTACH) setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and write clear, timely documentation including daily notes, goals, and discharge planning.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage individual and group treatment sessions, and support safe patient handling procedures.
- Comfort supervising and mentoring therapy students and other clinical staff preferred.
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing and satisfy state-mandated continuing education requirements.
