Description
Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Ability to work typical rehabilitation caseloads, assist with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and documentation in electronic medical records.
- Client requirement: must be available to start ASAP and able to commit to a 13-week contract (client-specified).
- Preferred: prior experience with restorative nursing programs and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
