Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Santa Maria, CA.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in PT/OT/SLP settings. Home health experience preferred.
• Experience with OASIS documentation is required.
• Experience using Cerner charting system preferred.
• Ability to manage caseloads across an assigned geographical region. Float between sites within the region as needed.
• Experience treating common diagnoses such as orthopedic conditions, strokes, joint and spinal injuries preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Unit: Home Health OT (covers PT, OT, and Speech disciplines in home-based care).
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts. Majority of hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend.
• Orientation: Approximately 1.5–2 weeks of floor-specific orientation.
• Charting System: Cerner.
• Uniform: Business attire with white lab coat; no jeans.
