Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 3+ years of experience for a 13-week day shift assignment at a small district hospital in California offering a diverse, multi-setting caseload.
Details
- Day shift schedule
- May work across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
- Diverse patient caseload requiring independent caseload management
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active California OT license in good standing required — license required if applicable
- Current AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings
- Proficiency with EMR documentation systems
- Ability to independently manage diverse caseloads
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat patients using professional judgment and clinical expertise across multiple care settings
- Assess functional abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and support patients in improving independence and quality of life
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- RTO is not approved unless noted in the offer at time of acceptance
