Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Alabama Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient experience preferred. (Client preference.)
- Must not be a PTA. Candidates must be licensed PTs; PTA applicants will not be considered. (Client requirement.)
- First-time travelers accepted. (Client preference.)
- New graduates will not be considered. (Client requirement.)
- Experience treating a high musculoskeletal/orthopedic patient population preferred.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week, seeing about 12–14 patients per day with possible double-booking of follow-up visits. (Client expectation.)
- OT hours require prior approval by the clinic director. (Client requirement.)
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
- Shift: Days.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
- Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day.
- Option to work in this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a Travel Team. Floating to other clinics is not required.
- Will accept first-time travel clinicians. New graduates not accepted.
