Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active GA Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Demonstrated experience implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions such as strengthening, balance, gait training, and functional skills training.
• Experience with common PT modalities and equipment preferred, including whirlpool, hot/cold packs, ultrasound, TENS, therapeutic pool, and assistive devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Ability to document patient progress, provide patient and family education, and participate in interdisciplinary team conferences.
• Adherence to safety, infection control, and safe patient handling procedures.

• Shift: Day (5x8).
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
