Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
• Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required to begin the assignment.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. Candidates without outpatient experience are not accepted for this role; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Experience with general orthopedics, neurological diagnoses (stroke/CVA, neurological disorders), debility, multi-trauma, and fracture management preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC or comparable EMR systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital-affiliated Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic.
• Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
• Shift: Days. Typical clinic shift patterns include 5x8 or 4x10 schedules; clinic will determine consistent day off for the assignment.
• Patient volume: Average 10–15 patients per day. Scheduling uses 30-minute treatment intervals; complex evaluations may be 60 minutes.
• Orientation: New employee orientation plus five days of departmental orientation.
• Support staff: Department includes approximately five therapists, one lead therapist, one office coordinator, and two rehab aides.
• Floating: No floating to other facilities is required.
• Uniform and parking: Polos provided (teal and black); slacks and clean shoes preferred. Free parking available.
