Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Some skilled nursing facility or long-term care (SNF/LTC) experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments under PT supervision and to document treatments and patient progress in medical records.
• Ability to instruct patients, families, and caregivers and to monitor patient response to treatment interventions.
