What We're Looking For

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Current Illinois OT license in good standing with the State License Board.
• NBCOT certification.
• Educator's license or valid Illinois teaching credentials as required by the district.
• Experience working in school-based settings, including assessments, IEP development, and collaboration with educational teams. (Client requires school setting experience.)
• Experience with therapeutic strategies for early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students. (Preferred: experience across multiple age groups and self-contained classrooms.)

What You'll Do:

• Provide occupational therapy services in a school setting, including resource and some self-contained assignments.
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams to support student participation and access to the curriculum.
• Maintain documentation compliant with district, state, and federal guidelines.

• Assignment Type: Part time.
• Orientation Dates: August 3 and August 4.
• First Day of Work: August 10, 2026.
• Last Day of Work: May 24, 2027.
• Student Populations: Early childhood, elementary, middle school, and high school. Specific school assignment will be determined closer to the start of the school year.
