Description
Are you a special education SLP seeking a rewarding local role or an exciting travel opportunity. Join our team for a school-based contract assignment where you will support young learners and help them develop communication skills that promote academic and social success.
What We're Looking For
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure in good standing in Oregon, or eligibility to obtain Oregon licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Oregon Educator License with SLP endorsement or eligibility preferred.
- Experience providing services to children birth to 3 years old required.
- Experience in school-based or early intervention settings required.
- Experience conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintaining compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy for infants and young children, focusing on birth to 3 age range.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized goals and treatment plans aligned with IEPs or early intervention plans.
- Deliver direct and consultative services in school and community settings.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to support child development and transitions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.

- Assignment Type: Local contract for school year (190-day contract, July through June).
- Service Population: Birth to 3 years old.
- Locations Covered: Salem and South Marion County. Floating between district sites may be required.
