Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant supporting patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Savannah, GA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, implementing treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active GA State PTA license required prior to the start of the assignment.
- BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated competency with ADL training, transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise.
- Ability to follow PT-established plans of care and document progress in the electronic medical record system used by the facility preferred.
