Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited programs approved by the APTA.
• Active Georgia State Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient experience required. Candidate must have experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Proficiency with outpatient documentation systems and charge entry; experience completing evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and functional quality indicator assessments.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or assistants, and to participate in student training as needed.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and comply with state practice act and continuing education requirements.
• Preferred: Experience with safe patient handling protocols and outpatient equipment such as therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques.

• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinics within the region as needed.
