Description

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Florida state PT license required to start the assignment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Clinical experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute rehab, or outpatient settings preferred.
  • Experience with rehabilitation equipment and documenting in Meditech and/or NetHealth (ReDoc) preferred.
  • Experience performing evaluations, follow-up treatments, vestibular and lymphedema treatments preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital (Rehab Department including Inpatient Rehab Facility and Acute Rehab).
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift hours: 0900-1730.
  • Patient ratios (typical): Inpatient Rehab 1:4; Acute Rehab 1:12; Outpatient 1:10.
  • Documentation systems used: Meditech for IRF/Acute; NetHealth (ReDoc) for Outpatient.
  • Unit size and staffing: IRF 35 beds; Acute Rehab up to 488 beds; department staff approximately 80 including PT/OT/ST.
  • Dress code: scrubs in gray or black.
