Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Kentucky State SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in an acute care or long term acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and management, including instrumental assessments (FEES or MBS) preferred.
- Experience with complex medically fragile patients, tracheostomy management, and ventilator-dependent patients preferred.
