Minimum Requirements
- Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current Alabama Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable vehicle or reliable access to public transportation.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Experience providing home health physical therapy, including performing patient evaluations, developing plan of care, documenting progress notes, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to perform home visits across the Dothan, AL coverage area and to function in varied home environments.
- Occasional weekend admissions required.
- Preferred: prior experience with mileage documentation between visits and knowledge of home health billing/practice guidelines.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (as listed 8am-4:30pm in client notes; follow facility schedule).
- Weekly Hours: 40 hour guarantee.
- On-call/Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekend admissions.
- Coverage Area: Dothan, AL. Candidate must travel between patient homes within the coverage area. Mileage reimbursement between first and last patient is provided per client guidance.
