Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Current Alabama Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
  • Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable vehicle or reliable access to public transportation.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience providing home health physical therapy, including performing patient evaluations, developing plan of care, documenting progress notes, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to perform home visits across the Dothan, AL coverage area and to function in varied home environments.
  • Occasional weekend admissions required.
  • Preferred: prior experience with mileage documentation between visits and knowledge of home health billing/practice guidelines.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Home Health.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (as listed 8am-4:30pm in client notes; follow facility schedule).
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hour guarantee.
  • On-call/Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekend admissions.
  • Coverage Area: Dothan, AL. Candidate must travel between patient homes within the coverage area. Mileage reimbursement between first and last patient is provided per client guidance.
