Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Alabama Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior experience with geriatric patient populations and restorative therapy programs preferred.
• Ability to perform documentation in electronic medical record systems required.
• Willingness to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
• PT or PTA credentials accepted; PT preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday, with one weekend rotation per month.
• Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks available.
• May float to other nearby facilities as requested by the client.
