Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent outpatient orthopedic or outpatient musculoskeletal physical therapy experience preferred. This may include experience managing post-operative patients, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience with therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and patient education in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems required. Experience with outpatient scheduling and documentation workflows preferred.
- Ability to perform evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and progress patients toward functional goals.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
