Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Tucson, AZ, working in a hospital setting where you will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to support safe discharge and community reintegration. Provide patient, family, and student education. Maintain professional standards, follow physician orders and hospital policies, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Arizona physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, document in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Must adhere to state practice act and maintain professional licensure and required continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with patient discharge planning and equipment ordering in a hospital environment.
• Experience supervising or providing clinical education to students.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record documentation and charge entry processes.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday.
• Shift pattern: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week).
