Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Sunrise, FL at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document care in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and infection control practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Experience supervising students or supporting student clinical education.
• Familiarity with functional quality indicator assessment and letters of medical necessity.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Clinic requires adherence to clinic standards for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Candidate may be expected to follow clinic competency and performance improvement processes.

Impacting Patient Care

Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and safe return to community activities. Complete timely, accurate documentation including goal writing, quality indicators, and charge entry. Provide patient, family, and student education. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice act and organizational codes of conduct. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and promote patient and employee safety through safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices.
