Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Georgia state license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and document care in compliance with state, federal and clinic policies.
• Willingness to participate in student training and professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior outpatient clinic experience treating a broad adult population.
• Familiarity with functional treatment program design and safe patient handling techniques.
• Experience with electronic medical records and letters of medical necessity.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Hours: 32–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Floating between nearby clinics may be required.

Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans that support patients returning to community activities. Complete clear, accurate, and timely documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicators, and required forms. Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure and required continuing education. Support organizational performance improvement initiatives and maintain safe work practices including safe patient handling and infection control.
