Description
We're looking for Nursery RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Castro Valley, CA. The right RN will have at least 1-2 years' recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements:
Nursery Room RNs will perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs. Other responsibilities as a Nursery Room Travel Nurse include monitoring patients' vital signs, monitoring patients' emotional and physical well-being, reporting any changes, and administering treatments, medications, tests and procedures.
As a Nursery Room Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
- Provide basic care to well babies.
- Provide light oxygen therapy to babies.
- Respond promptly to the needs of a newborn.
- Administer vaccinations and newborn screens per hospital policy.
- Administer treatments, tests and procedures.
Requirements*: BLS, NRP, 2 Years
* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
