Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work in cardiac echo department performing complete 2D echocardiograms
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift: 2-3 staff members, Evening shift: 1-2 staff (no overnight shifts)
• Weekend coverage: 1-2 staff on Saturday & Sunday
• Call requirements: 3-7 nights per month for emergency stat echo procedures
• Must complete studies in less than 45 minutes per patient
• Work with GE echo equipment
• Documentation using Meditech Expanse system
• Dress code: Ciel blue scrubs
• Required certifications: RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) and BLS
• 1-3 years experience with neonate to geriatric patients required
• Must function well independently
• Must be easily adaptable to fast-paced, fluid environment
• Must be able to take call for emergency stat echo procedures
