Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, may extend until 5:00 PM based on census and case load
• Full-time position working 5 days, 8-hour shifts
• No call during the week, weekend call may be required based on need
• Float to other locations based on staff and census requirements
• Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Support other imaging technologists and facilitate efficient patient flow
• Must demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or campuses as needed
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance activities
• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems
• Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Function as PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures
• Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT or NMTCB required
• Texas state licensure (MRT by TMB) required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Basic computer experience required
