RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 2 positions available with immediate start
• Every other weekend requirement
• Voluntary on-call shifts available
• Floating to other units as helping hands during low census periods
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS Certification from AHA required
• ACLS Certification from AHA required
• PALS Certification from AHA required (OR ENPC)
• TNCC OR ATCN certification required
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Provide quality care in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking
• Position, push, and transfer patients or equipment requiring heavy physical effort
• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
• Demonstrate current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served
• Communicate clearly and concisely appropriate to developmental age of patients
