Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Rotational night, weekend, and holiday call (1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month)
• Required certifications: CORST, CST or TSC certification, BLS from AHA only
• 2+ years Surgical Technologist experience in hospital setting required
• 1+ years cardiothoracic experience with open heart experience required
• Must have experience with open heart and thoracic procedures
• Preferred experience with ECMO, Impella insertion, Robotics, CABG, Valve Replacement, VATS, Lung Resection, Aortic Aneurysm Repair
• Work in 4 operating rooms using Epic Optime EMR system
• Black scrubs required - no jeans or unprofessional attire
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• Provide direct patient care under surgeon and circulating RN supervision
• Set up surgical cases, maintain sterile field, perform counts, assist OR staff
• Function as resource for new surgical technicians and students
• Must work in fast-paced environment with occasional high-stress situations
• Float as required by facility
