Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week with shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Minimum 10 shifts required with minimum 2 weekends (1 IR and 1 Cardiac)
• Holiday and on-call requirements apply
• Must float between all 3 campuses (Immanuel, Lakeside and Mercy CB) for daily and on-call coverage as needed
• Call response time of 30 minutes required, with expectation to live centrally between campuses
• Must have more than 3 years hospital-setting Cardiac Cath/IR experience
• Required certifications: RCIS, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Work with Siemens equipment in 3 suites/labs handling 4-5 cases per day on average
• Perform intra-procedural circulating, supplies management, medication administration, and sedation
• Handle common diagnoses including compression fractures, venous access, chest pain, and various cardiac/vascular conditions
• Use EPIC EMR system and Apollo cardiac charting
• Must wear surgical greens dress code and maintain natural nails only (artificial nails prohibited)
• Radiation badge provided by facility
• One week orientation including on-call buddy system
• Valid driver's license required and must reside within 50-mile radius
• Cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity affiliated facilities

The facility is equipped with modern Siemens technology and maintains readiness for emergency STEMI cases, including capability to treat patients requiring IABP stabilization. The department features three suites/labs and provides comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional services across multiple campus locations with 24/7 emergency coverage capabilities.
