Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 4 days per week
• Minimum 10 shifts required per contract period
• On-call responsibilities covering three campuses after hours and weekends
• Must respond within 30 minutes for home campus, ASAP for other locations
• Minimum 2 weekend call requirements (1 IR and 1 Cardiac)
• Holiday call requirements apply
• Float daily and on-call as needed between all three campuses
• Must live within 50-mile radius and be centrally located between campuses
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Required certifications: RCIS, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Hospital setting cardiac catheterization/interventional radiology experience of more than 3 years required
• Work with Siemens equipment in 3 suites/labs
• Handle 4-5 cases per day on average
• Perform intra-procedural circulating, supplies management, medication administration, and sedation
• Treat patients with compression fractures, venous access needs, hydronephrosis, chest pain, PHTN, SOB, gastric ulcer, PE, and DVT
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system and Apollo cardiac charting
• Wear surgical greens dress code
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• One week orientation including on-call buddy system
• Radiation badge provided by facility
