RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 5-day schedule with 8-hour shifts
• 3 positions available with immediate start
• Weekend requirements apply
• Call requirements and on-call responsibilities required
• Required certifications: BLS and RN License in state of employment or compact
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care
• Practice independently while demonstrating awareness of all relevant clinical aspects
• Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols
• Monitor for side-effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
• Manage contingencies of clinical nursing practice
