RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Assess patient conditions and plan and implement patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
• Assist physicians in performing procedures
• Observe and record patient vital signs
• Ensure ventilators, monitors and other medical equipment function properly
• Adjust ventilator and IABP settings as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Perform suctioning procedures
• Collaborate with critical care team members
• Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
• May be required to float to lower acuity units depending on facility census
• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Must have ventilator/tracheostomy experience and knowledge of central lines
• Preferred wound care experience
• Florida RN license or multi-state RN license required
