RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts
• Full-time position providing direct patient care in cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Demonstrate proficiency and independence in patient care using the nursing process
• Apply assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Consult with staff, physicians, and management on nursing problems and policy interpretation
• Maintain clinical competency and continue learning new skills within the department
• Practice five rights of medication administration
• Demonstrate efficient time management skills and encourage teamwork
• Act as patient advocate while respecting confidentiality and cultural/religious beliefs
• Participate in hospital and departmental quality activities as required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), Verbal CPI
• New Mexico RN License required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Ability to speak additional languages preferred
