RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts: 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Should be willing to float to other units
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Arizona nursing license required
• Scrub color: Black
• EMR systems: Cerner / Firstnet
• Option for blocked scheduling available
• No 48-hour guarantee available
• Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the nursing process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in emergency situations
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Plan for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department setting
