RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Requires active nursing license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2+ years of OR RN experience with a combination of orthopedic, plastics, and OB/GYN procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care
• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room technicians
• Ensure supplies and timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patient families during procedures
• Update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Follow state nurse practice act, AORN standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide patient care according to physician orders and hospital policies
