Description
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Must work two weekend shifts per pay period (could be every Friday night or Saturday night based on unit needs)
• Holiday requirements apply
• Call or standby requirement - maximum 3 calls per 12 weeks
• Float to ICU/PCU/MS/Tele units at both campuses as needed based on department skill needs
• Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 based on patient acuity
• Must have more than two years of CVICU experience
• Required to take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to contract signing (must score 80% or higher)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have experience with IABP, CRRT, and fresh open heart surgery patients from OR
• Responsible for titrating drips including Dexmedetomidine, Propofol, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Levophed, Insulin, and Cardene
• Read and interpret cardiac strips
• Work with ventilators, BiPap, CPAP, Vapotherm, and high flow equipment
• Impella experience desired
• Use Cerner charting system
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Unit-specific orientation required
• BSN not required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
