Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No call requirements
• Weekend work required - 2 weekends per pay period
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must be competent with interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Preferred qualifications: Leadership/charge nurse experience, critical care experience, monitor tech experience
• Work with cardiac catheterization lab post-PACU patients including left/right heart caths, pacemakers, Watchman procedures, and ablations
• Care for stroke and COVID patients
• Use GE remote telemetry equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs for nurses; no hooded sweaters, full pull-over sweaters, fanny packs, or Crocs allowed
• Attend mandatory huddles at nurse's station at shift start (6:45 PM for night shift)
• Perform bedside shift reports and update patient communication boards
• Work on 24-bed telemetry unit with 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2 PCTs per shift

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
