Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (depending on patient load)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• No weekend hours or call requirements
• Treat approximately 65-70 patients per day in the department
• 2 years of radiation therapy experience in a hospital setting required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, ARRT, and RRA
• Must have good communication skills and linac treatment experience
• Experience setting up patients and imaging patients required
• Work with sophisticated equipment including Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and new Radixact system
• Use Mosaiq and EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Treat both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
• Black scrubs required - colored scrubs not acceptable
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 - April 1
• Experience with Elekta workflows preferred but can be taught on the job
