Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week with 8-hour shifts
• Perform 6-8 echos per day
• Weekend requirement rotating every 5th week
• On-call requirement 1 week every 5th week
• Work primarily with adult echo patients with occasional pediatric tele-med cases
• Perform quality diagnostic echo cardiology procedures independently without supervision
• Conduct all routine echocardiograms for evaluation of possible abnormal heart defects or disease
• Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms
• Perform stress echocardiograms to evaluate for coronary artery disease
• Notify physicians daily for exam interpretation and check weekly for needed supplies
• Required certifications: BLS, DCS, RCS, RDMS through ARDMS or CCI
• High school diploma required with graduate of accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred
• Two years of experience in cardiology field preferred
• Experience with stress testing preferred
• Temp to perm possibility available
