RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, peripherals, TAVR procedures, and device implantations
• Weekend requirement every third or fourth weekend
• On-call responsibilities as selected in collaboration with other staff
• Nurse to patient ratio of one patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs)
• Dress code requirement: Galaxy blue
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Precepted by designated trained staff member during initial on-boarding
• Must complete organizational entry competency validation and department-specific competency validation
• Annual competency verification requirements must be completed
• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education
• Temporary to permanent position possibility available
