RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 42-bed Neonatal ICU (may overflow to 50 beds)
• Patient ratios: Level 3: 1-2 patients per nurse (may have 3 if low acuity), Level 2: 3-4 patients per nurse
• Work with specialized equipment including isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, HFVOF/HFJV, iNO, bCPAP, total body cooling
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech and CPN
• Perform typical procedures including IV starts and PICC insertions (for trained clinicians)
• Required certifications: RN licensure, NRP required, STABLE preferred
• Experience with central lines (UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC), CPAP required
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
• Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• Occasional on-call responsibilities
• May float to Mother Baby unit
• Resource support available on unit
• Must be a team player and self-motivated
