Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work in a 12-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit on the 2nd floor
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 ratios based on patient acuity
• Care for intubated patients and manage titrating vasoactive medications
• Work with specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, PrisMax, ECMO, Alaris IV pumps, Edwards Hemospheres, and ventilators
• Assist with recovery from open-heart surgery procedures
• Support intubation, extubation, bedside bronchoscopy, and bedside line insertion procedures
• Float to MICU and CVIMU as needed
• Work every other weekend with no on-call requirements
• Must have knowledge of caring for intubated patients and patients with titrating vasoactive medications
• CV ICU background and ability to care for device patients preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must be willing to work as a team player
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• Use Meditech EMR system

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
